It's gonna take a rewatch before I totally digest it, but for the most part I was not disappointed. I may have overanalyzed some parts (which for Lost is pretty hard to do) but I'll give them a few episodes to explain stuff before I start nitpicking.

One thing I did like is it seems they're not too worried about pandering to new viewers. Either you knew what was going on or you're not gonna watch the show again. Which is how it should be, being the 5th season and all.

I thought it was a pretty decent episode. I wonder how they are going to get Hugo out of jail.

So I was thinking about something....

Apparently Ben is the reason Charles Widmore left the island and he can't go back. Ben came to the island in the 80's, so Widmore was there from the 50's until some time maybe in the 90's (because The Purge happened in 1992). Some time in between that time frame Penny was born. So was she born on the island or did (does) Ben travel to the past and trick Widmore into leaving before she was born. Because it seems that Ben's in the present now and the jumps through time have stopped.

no fucking clue man, my brain isn't smart enough to comprehend all the bullshit they put in the show. last weeks jumped around 3 years later, 3 years before and so on and so on. so know i take it that they are all back in 77. what happend to the other ppl at the beach when the light crap began?
